I dont see it as hardcore gamers having an issue with the Wii.... I see it as HD gamers, do. PC gamers are among the "hardest" core, and they seem to be more open to the Wii.... I think it is just that the Wii success scares 360/PS3 fanboys. And since the number #1 genre on both consoles right now (more so on the 360) is FPS games.... that is why it seems like mainly FPS gamers trashing.

Also typically FPS gamers are graphics whores, again another reason for the Wii to not appeal to them.

Who said anything about "hardcore" gamers? :O Pc gamers don't have a problem with wii since it is not really competing for the same games as pc. There are a lot of pc-gamers who whine about "games being dumbed down" because of the consoles. Why should PS360 fans be scared of wii's succes? You know, if there were some interesting games on wii we could just go and buy one. Since there aren't enough interesting games... oh well. :)

putting a : ) at the end does not change the fact you are trolling.

Also, you just admit (whether or not you realize it) that HD gamers are worried about losing games to the Wii, but then denied it later in the post.

We are already seeing devs shifting resources and games from HD development to the Wii. It will only snowball from here. Be afraid...
