The MotionPlus is an additional accelerometer that allows for true 1:1 movement, and is therefore for games other than FPSes, though there really aren't many to choose from in the first place. The IR sensor, the main component in FPSes, is already precise enough for FPS games. MotionPlus has nothing to do with it.

but yeh it'll be good for golf games for example.

they better start doin more than just waggling in 1 to 1
