And as noted, those fewer zombies will be more aggressive. The 360 version had lot of active AI zombies, but the AI consisted of "Shuffle around until he comes right up to your face, and only then attack him." Thus you could mow them down.
Unless the developers were lying, that will be the case this time.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
