Definitely, not only for buying games but also for consoles.
Right now at Amazon UK you can get consoles for:
Wii: 190 €
360: 130 / 170 / 220 €
PS3: 290 €
See, a PS3 at Amazon UK is almost as cheap as a Wii in the rest of Europe.
Even when you add shipping, it's still great savings. I wonder if UK console/software prices will increase if this keeps going for a long time, Sony especially must be bleeding a lot of money in UK sales. 290 € is $330 before tax.
