DLC, a console RTS and a JRPG against a shooter on another console. I cannot see them competing, most definitely cannot see a JRPG, RTS and DLC impacting sales for a shooter and vice versa.

:/

thats not the point. The point is that 360 is offering 3 major game franchises in palce of Sonys 1. MS is saying:

"PS3 is offering you a shooter, something we have plenty of. However, were offring a sandbox game, a JRPG, and a RTS. Were offering 3 game experiences in place of PS3s one.......a experience that has been done to death (fps)."

Thats what this thread means. MS is saying they offer more then just another shooter. Add Stoked and Race Pro also in February and the 360 exclusive list dwarfs the PS3 list in Q1 09.

Wait you are making it sound as though these games will be system sellers. They will sell well, none of them are going to caase people to buy consoles (besides a few people here who are JRPG lovers).

At $200, I can see STar Ocean being a system seller, and not just in Japan. GTA: LAD may be DLC, but its also getting retail shelf space. And it being freakin GTA, one of the highest selling franchises of all time, its bound to sell some Arcade 360s. Halo Wars will sell because its Halo, maybe even snag a few former PC gamers with the $200 price and all.

Thign is, the 360s price makes those 3 games just as likely to be system sellers as KZ2 is for PS3. Why? Cause its harder to justify a purchase when the cheapest price is $400.

I think you are crazy for thinking that Star Ocean 4 will push a lot systems outside of Japan.

Where is the announcement that the DLC is also in disc form?

And why would any PC gamers want to play console RTS?
