| vonboy said: well, if your deciding to rent games, you should BUY super smash bros brawl, and mario kart wii, because those are games you will probably WANT to own forever. they will both probably keep you playing for over 100 hours (especially mario kart, with it's amazing online multiplayer, tournament and time trial leaderboards, and racing other players ghost online.) |
I don't own the Wii I just traded for a month or 2. So I will not be buying any games for it unless we decide to trade for good, or I end up buying one for my wife. She likes it way more than I do, and she is already wanting to try out Wii Fit, but I refuse to even think about buying that for her. I am sure my cousin would be happy if I did.
@ Aquietguy, I wasn't trying to jab the Wii as being childish, that was just how I saw it from a distance. While I do think that it is geared for younger people (which isn't a bad thing) it has gotten a bit of a bad rap. And I was just as guilty of that as most folks who haven't played it much.
Sadly I haven't tried it online yet, maybe if I rent Mario Kart I will give online a go. Does online have matchmaking or do you need to have a group of friends that play (Mario Kart in particular)?
