You missed the point of the OP pretty spectacularly.

I strongly disagree. I believe I see the (useless) point and even answered the question. Sorry if I prefaced my answer with a description of why the question is absurd by arguing with the language in it. "if the game gets ported" assumes the possibility that it will happen, and it's not going to.

So, just for clarity's sake:

Assuming that you are a Wii-only owner who has learned that FFXIII will be coming out on all systems, you would buy an HD system in order to play that version instead of buying the Wii version?
