I don't really care for JRPGs on the Wii. About as close as I'll come to accepting that control system for that type of game is TLoZ, a game that's not really an RPG and involves a lot of aiming/movement, something not found in your typical JRPG.

IMO, JRPGs work best with a traditional controller. Something that you can lean back in your chair, sit for six hours at a time, and play slowly with little physical interaction (see Folklore's annoying "jerk the soul out of the creature" feature as where you can go wrong with motion controls in those types of games).
