Well you can plug it into any USB port and charge it from my experience, so you could technically use your 360's USB slots as well, but for me personally I use my many many PC USB slots since I got all these spliters and such, like I have a numpad for my laptop that adds USB ports then a controller converter with even more USB slots, etc. It seems every USB device has to come with an additional 2 USB slots.
