good to hear you like your purchase. As pointed out by many, you need a good tv to get the best put of it. I specially bought a 1080p tv for my ps3! It makes the difference.
Also, make sure you got a hdmi connection not through scart. I bought a starter pack thing from HMV for £25. You get triggers for your dualshock, a USB extension piece to plug an extra 3 USB's, gold played hdmi cable and a bluetooth headset. Well worth a purchase!
Games library may not be the best, but there are plenty of good games. I recommend:
Ps3:
Heavenly sword, Resistance2, MGS4, GT5P, LBP, Ms:PR and Folklore if you into your rpg's.
PSN:
Super stardust hd ( the most insane addictive game on psn), puzzlequest, pain (decent party game), wipeout hd, pixeljunk Eden and Tekken DR maybe worth a purchase.
As for Blu Ray, I've noticed not all movies are worth it. The ones I appreciated and recommend buying are:
Planet earth, transformers, journey to the centre of the earth 3d ( it's he and comes with 3d glasses. Works beautifully), and Kung Fu panda. Not all hd movies are shot in IMAX or using a hd camera. So you may not get what you paid for. I learnt the hardway unfortunately!
