But I agree that metroid 3 will not make this list, too many people reviewed it critically as another sequel rather than judge it for what it is. The same problem existed for Zelda:TP. It beats OOT in about every scope except that it came out so much later and that the standards have changed since then. To a degree thats a valid argument because over time the games get better and what may stand out a year or 2 ago becomes another game in a crowd. |
So is bioshock, quite the game, in my top 5 of all time no doubt, it deserves to be up there with sm64
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
