Two things:

A. That's actually how Call of Duty 3 on Wii tells you how to steer, with the Wiimote and 'chuck as your hands on an invisible wheel at 10 and 2 o'clock.

B. This is the Wii: have you ever actually seen the vast majority of people playing on it and the kind of movements they make while doing so? Hell, have you ever handed your Mom/GF/little sister a game pad and watched them play a racing game for the first time? What do they do? They leeeeeean into the turns, etc.

And no, I'm not saying this is real (for one: where's the sensor bar as others have already pointed out), but your argument is a bit thin.

 

Ok, I didn't know that. I was thinking of Excite Truck and Mario Kart Wii. (haven't played COD3)

The sensor bar is on the bottom right of the TV.
