This guy just said that Sony made their console hard to develop for, so the later games would look good by comparison.
That implies that Sony wanted its first gen games and multiplats to run poorly and not look as good, on purpose, when compared to their potential.
Which in turn simply means that every multiplat that is worse on a Sony console is by Sony design, and not the fault of developers at all.
