| Johann said: @Darc: I respect your opinion, you seem to know the game's story quite a lot. I thought Tifa didn't say anything about Cloud not speaking the truth cause she was scared. She wasn't even sure that guy was actualy Cloud, and was afraid to spoil everything by asking him what was going on. Some people like o live in lie. You make good points with the battle system and graphics, although I could care less about graphics. I thought the highly costumizable characters were kind of cool. |
I can see where you coming from with her not telling Cloud, but not telling Barret is something else. Cloud was a huge security risk and the leader of Avalanche should have been aprised of this. Barret put so much trust in Cloud for two reasons, he was Tifa's friend and a former "member" of Soldier. I mean you remember what state Cloud was in when she found him.
Back to the topic. Did anyone get a chance to play Phantasy Star 1? That game was well ahead of its time and at least deserves mention. It had cinematics, a female lead, 3D dungeons, multiple worlds, etc. and it was released in 1988. It took both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest a few sequels to get the features that the Phantasy Star series started out with.
