I agree with most of the posters here. They make some good points about not having to use the wiimote for every game you put on the system. Nintendo already has 2 major games that don't fully use the wiimote and both are/will be smash hits (SPM, SSBB). It's also cool to see some industry people realize that many gaming sites like 1up are becoming unrepresentative of the gaming community as a whole.
What struck me most is why are 3rd parties choosing to attack Nintendo head on with their Wii offerings. Nintendo owns casual gaming, making a casual game on a Nintendo platform is for the most part a money losing proposition. I hope 3rd parties wake up to the ideas Croal was mentioning (Zelda-like Harry Potter, Metroid-like Call of Duty).
