Contra 3, Super Castlevania, Actraiser usually are included in most top 10, 20 or 50 SNES games ever.

Hmmm, back when those games came out I was a kid and more into just Mario Kart and SMW, Zelda(SNES) was the first "core" game I ever played.

 

But without a doupt, SNES is in my opinion the best console ever, so with the Wii I am just hoping it can compare when all is said and done (SW wise)

The SNES easily had the best RPG Selection, most of which were after the first 26 months. FF4, and I guess Zelda were the only early ones I liked(FF5, might have been early in the console life, but never was released here). But then you had Illusion of Gaia, Chrono triger, Sectet of Mana, SoM 2 (japan only), Tales of Phantasia, FF6, SMRPG, Terranigma, Treasure Hunter G, Breath of Fire (was one early too I believe, Fire Emblem (same), Romancing Saga, and DQ 5 and 6 (5 might have been ealier, need to look it up, I know 4 was released in like 92 though on the NES)

then also in the 93-96 timeframe is when DKC 1-3, Killer Instinct, Yoshi's Island, Kirby Superstar, StarFox, and tons of other mega classics.
