No it's not actually. I was in a long distance relationship for 2 and a half to 3 years. I read somewhere where 9 months of a long distance equates to 3 years of 2 people living together, in terms of how mature the relationship is. Anyhow, that was going damn strong, and as long as one of you two is realistic as to when you can actually get together without getting someone's life ruined, long-distance is just fine. Seemed like your relationship lacked that. If one of us hadn't fucked up big time we may already have been married right now. So just because something gets fucked up, it doesn't mean that love isn't real. After all, all it is is a bunch of hormones going off at the right times.
