The downfall of Sony and PS3 is imminent. I was lulz so much over that Hirai statement about XBox lacking longevity and Wii not being competition. Talk about a sore loser. lulz
Aaron speaks the truth MS has the money to buy franchises from Sony and buy timed exclusive third party titles. 360 has price as its weapon - the Elite and Pro models can still be discounted further in the next 3 years and bundles would attract more 360 buyers over PS3 buyers particularly in Americas and the Europeans are now buying more 360's than PS3's.
The gap between 360 and PS3 is more likely going to increase over time. Head to Head 360 has outsold PS3 by 2 million since the PS3 was launched back in November 2006.
The 360 had a 50 week start over PS3 and sold 6 million between November 2005 to November 2006. People forget the 360 was competing against the PS2 which was well established and much cheaper than 360. The same point in time argument used by PS3 fans is a joke. 360 started selling much better when the other competitors: Wii and PS3 entered the market in late 2006.
