I think happy Squrriel has a good point, but my idea was different.
It wouldn't be good to have a price cut again. Well, it wasn't a price cut but you know what I mean. I think it would create bad reception for Sony, and have more people lose loyalty to them. It also wouln't be good fior buisness. They can't drop price again. They also can't keep releaseing new modles, as itr also creates customer worry.
