I dunno... I wouldn't be feeling depressed, especially since on average atheists make 10% more money than religious types. I find it far more depressing for someone to be blindly believing in something because others told them about it than not....

I am a christian. I believe in the christian god. I sin. I'm a fucking human being. I listen to metal, judas preist, black sabbath. I do not blindly follow, I have reasons.

The viewpoint that religious people are the idiotic simpletons, and atheists are king because they believe in only science. Well, I've had experiences, and if you choose to only beleive in science when science cannot explain everything, go ahead. I do not care, but if you dare insult religion, or christianity itself, you better say it to somebodies face. Right now all you are is a coward.

And yes, religion is horrible. It is THE greatest divisive force in the world, and also the most powerful tool in ctolrolling millions at a time. It is a tool, and nothing more. A tool for the people who know how to use it to control those millions. It is like a literal cancer upon the world, destroying it from within by causing some of the greatest conflicts in history. Basically, the world would have been far better off without religion. And it's not religion, it's blind faith of ANY sort. Religion just happens to be the most widespread blind faith. Marx put it best "Religion is opium for the masses."
