I hope both do well because quality, adult oriented games with mature themes are few and far between. By that I mean actually mature games, not just games that get an M rating because they feature lots of killing.
I know I will purchase Alan Wake, probably week 1, but Heavy Rain has me interested as well. My roommate received a PS3 from his grandmother for Christmas, so I can even play it now if I want to. Fingers crossed for both of them to be good.
