Eh... I thought the same, But I finally played Shadow The Hedgehog (not all that bad), and Sonic 2006 (Terrible, but not not nearly as broken playing as shadow), and he was pretty cool in those games... Especially when he fights Mephelis... Sonic Heroes (better game), not so much...
I know my fave Metal Sonic is Neo-Metal though (pictured above) from sonic heroes...
I think all metal sonics are severely underappreciated as villians... They need to put him in another game, lol...
