The series is so unbelievably good, that it activates a chemical in the brain of the majority of westerners, which blocks the "fun" sensors from fully opening, This leads these people to have a skewered appreciation for the game, and in some cases, leads them to believe that the game "sucks".
Luckily, I'm part of the small percentage that doesn't get affected by this imbalance, and can appreciate the series in all its glory.
