I'll give you the explained version of his answer. The PS3 has Japan, and judging by past games of a similar nature, the PS3 version will sell better in Europe. It all depends on how well RE5 sells in America. It'll be close between 360 and PS3, I don't expect more than a 400k gap.

Hmm..no sorry i don't see those games as having a similar nature. GTA was always considered a playstation franchise and a lot of casuals still think it's a playstation only game, thus buying it for the ps3. RE has never really been a playstation exclusive, much more a nintendo/sega game than a sony game. Therefore i think the sales will be split more between the two consoles, and due to the higher userbase, x360 will take the advantage of the doubt.
