To unlock the second final day mission (70th Moon Medal), you need to collect all but 2 secret items in the game.
To unlock the final day mission (71st and last Moon Medal), you need to collect all secret items but Movie 36.
It's annoying but they are basically forcing you to collect all secret items to beat the game fully!
