This statement is what I find the most laugable:

But what about the PS3 owners who missed the first game? Our source says it is “likely” EA will release a PlayStation 3 port of the original Mass Effect, debuting sometime in mid-2009. Similar to Take-Two’s decision to make a Bioshock port on the PS3, this port would introduce PS3 owners to the series and give EA almost risk-free profit from its sales.

The first game was funded by MS and published by MS. Bioshock was only a timed exclusive and MS didn't fund it. The comparison is laughable. On the Xbox 360 version of ME, MS has its brand plastered on it like a NASCAR whip.

EA was of course going multiplat with ME - it will be a hollow shell of what Bioware had. However, unless they want a legal fight over the first one, it won't happen.

Also something else to consider - MS has been rather quiet about all of this. They haven't said anything - and maybe when the rumors hit a feverish pitch, they may come out and shoot all these rumors to hell.

Just like last gen forced me to buy a PS2 to play GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas, ME is forcing folks to buy the PC version or a 360 - and the 360 version is cheaper if you don't have a very fast PC.

Here's the deal - This blogger did this just to get attention and hits. He has no knowledge about the legal ramifications of publishing a game without permission.
