Halo brand name is not everything, the brand was made with shooter fanbase, kids online screaming "I FRAGGED YOU F*KIN NOOOOOOOOBBBBBB, YOU'RE A S*** F**G*T AND I PWN YOU LIKE MY B***" how many of those are willing to buy a RTS?

Don't get me wrong, the Halo brand is strong and it will be a million seller because of that, but i'm curious to see sales after the 1st week, when word gets out that it's not a shooter, and to PWN someone you have to manage economy and battle, instead of "HEADSHOOTING & FRAGGING NOOBS" right away...

Killzone 2 is a shooter that's being praised, and it has no competition as a FPS (R2 had CoD:WaW and even Left4Dead as competition), or even as a shooter overall (GeoW says hi), it will be a million seller sure, and it will sell better than Halo Wars in the long run (First Week i don't know)...

Now, i'm very curious about what Ensemble Studios can do with a console RTS, i love them on PC, but if they pull this off it can do wonders like Halo did to console FPS's...

With the way COD 5 is selling it will still have competition.  You're really underrating Halo Wars brand power, and Killzone 2's no brand power.  No one I know with a ps3 is buying it.  Yet I know lots of people who are dying for Halo Wars.  RTS can sell, espescially with a name on it.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.
