That´s why i think SW3 will be a lot better, if we talk about Argument of the game ever is the same: Japanese war on feudal period, meanwhile Dinasty Warriors is about Romance of Three kingdoms, and i don´t know why you said the story of the game is bad, because both are incredible extent, and every game just take some fragment from theirs timelines, it´s almos imposible take many books in a game, remember that Romance of three kingdoms games contains more segments form the books, but it´s a lot bored (and I said that being a RPG fan).
HALIL23: I agree, the game should have a optional gameplay like No more heroes, but remenber that´s not necesseary use all your strength in move the cntroller, it´s better be acurrated.
KASZ216: SW it´s a good seller, Wii version don´t sell so much like SW1 because in that moment the systems sold was short, now the instaled base it´s bigger and sales too.

Oh I know it will be better than Katana. I would really hope so. I haven't played SW 2 only the first so I can't comment. I'm saying that Koei's iterations of their franchises do not change to much from year to year. They add some characters, flair of the grpahics, and maybe switch up the scenarios but the core gameplay stays the same. Kenbu did have some change from DW 5 to DW6 but that's the exception, not the rule.
Although, I know story quality is subjective and I do not think any of Koei DW, SW, or RotTK games have good stories. You play for the fun and addictive gameplay. You like them, awesome. You won't convince me unless I'm proven wrong while playing.
