The playstation brand is very strong and if it were priced at a affordable price when lauched it would be in the lead now, im 100% of it.
Back in the 1990s when the first playstation came out. You had Sega who didn't really care about its customers and brought rubbish addons. On the other side you had nintendo who swore by sticking to cartridges and charging a arm and a leg for games. People wanted something new and playstation fitted in, it was cool, young and also cheap. I had two PS1 but never did have a PS2.
I have both systems (xbox, PS3) but im NO SONY fanboy, im a PC fanboy :D
