It had a cool theme though the story ended up being pretty cheesy in the end. You can get used to the controls if you remember that a swipe will register as a swipe and waggling like a maniac will cause the swing to reset. There's also a pretty cool honor system that builds your reputation if you spare opponents after sword combat. I'd say rent and see if you like it first.
