I don't think Sony will cease to exist, its a huge company, in some ways iconic. However I think what wil happen is extreme downsizing. There will have to be significant changes in their business model.
There was a time when Sony was top dog in electronics and their higher price was justified, but now with competition from Samsung and the like its no longer the case.
To ppl complaining that this is a Sony bash, grow up. Sony isn't the only company going through financial problems its a global recession. Since this is a gaming site however, I'd be curious to see the financial reports from third party devs and publishers. I understand some are reporting huge revenue but they seem to be hollering about revenue almost to distract ppl from questioning the main goal which is profits.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
