I have only played one 3d sonic game and that was on the gamecube. the first 3d sonic game on the gamecube. (not sure what it was called right now so in case more than one released)
But I actually found it to be really fun. Running super fast down the streets and all that stuff. I had fun, so did my brother and sisters. Me and bro were probably 16ish at time. And the sisters had a lot of fun too, and even more fun they had doing the weird little creatures thingy it had.
So I dont' know if all sonic 3d games are like that, but if they are. Then sonic is getting quite the bad rap for his games when they aren't that bad. If I had a steady income I would own more sonic games. But when only buy 4-5 games a year at most then it gets quite picky on which games to buy
