@seece: Weird, the PC version averaged 89, meaning it is not AAA, yet it is better than the x360 version.

Not that weird, just a different set of reviewers.

So what value does the dubious "AAA" designation really hold then? When you say the ps3 version won't be "AAA" what you're really saying is the aggregate critic score will be a few points lower than the x360 version. Or basically that the x360 will be a little better than the (hypothetical) ps3 version. Believe it or not, there isn't some magical boundry at 90 points that makes a game "AAA".

I am well aware of that, don't go assuming.

PS3 - 89

360 - 96

Thats more than a few points, thats a port with obvious flaws.

an 89 game is no better than a 90 game I'm aware of that. None the less all I said was the PS3 version won't be AAA and I'm right :P

ps3 89 based of 24 reviews

360 96 based off 54 reviews

the reviews on ps3 orange box did not correspond to the game in hand, ive played the 360 version and ive owned the ps3 version. the only things better on 360 are, quicker load times - more stable frame rate in episode 2 during heavy firefights - better team fortress community features. to mark a game aggregated 7 points higher is very very flawed when actual differences are noted.

i would give 360 version a 92 and the ps3 version 90, 360 version is better. but EA has come on better on ps3 coding so we may see an identical port of L4D if not as near damn it.
