@BTFeather: What? I thought your opinion was based on your solid gameplay experience on the game. If not, that means... ...You don't know a shit about the game. Who would've known.

Even if I had a Wii, I wouldn't buy Wii Music due to its its review scores.  I don't like to spend $50.00 on something in order to have the priviledge of trying out for myself.  Only if a game is in a genre I like, and music games don't tend to be a genre that I instantly feel compelled to buy games from anyway, rarely do I buy a game that has a review score less than 9.  Exceptions are Final Fantasy Tactics IGN gave it an 8.5, Lunar:  Silver Star Story Complete on PS1 IGN gave it a 7.5 and I never had a Sega CD, so I bought it, and Fear Effect 2:  Retro Helix IGN gave it a 6.9 and I bought it used and didn't buy it based on expectations for what the gameplay experience would be but because of the character designs of Hannah and Raine.

What do you think accounts for the fact that Nintendo fans are willing to spend $50.00 on such poorly reviewed games other than the fact that they are Nintendo fans?

Word of mouth from people with similar tastes?

An interest in music/music games?

A unique and new gameplay experience?

Coming to their own conclusions rather than being told what to like?

I can keep going if you want me to.
