IGN is unprofessional. They want a game like Wii Music to fail but will not go after EA for their My Sims Kart or My Sims Party or Ubisoft, with its tons of shovelware. This makes no sense and IGN is becoming a site of insane journalist that hate the fact that they are Irrelevant. The whole hardcore or nothing attitude is not health for the Industry. Why not accept and Welcome casual and Nongamers? Why not offer them a channel on IGN where they can visit and discuss the games they like to play. IGN could also suggest some core games similar to the ones that they enjoy playing. This would be a better service than to spend time trying to make Wii music flop and would help some casuals become core gamers faster.
If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
