I've tried finishing it 4 times, but it gets to dull every time (one thing is that 90% of the game lacks any challenge what-so-ever. The other 10% are awesome though).

I'll give it another shot (I have it on VC).

Since when have Zelda games ever been "challenging?"

I'm fine with the 3D games not having a huge challenge (but I find them harder than most of alttp), as you kind of explore and enjoy the game. It gets a bit dull in 2D.

All the other 2D Zeldas (well, except for maybe Phantom hourglass) have a real challenge, either in puzzles or enemies. Link to the past has almost none of that.

The other Zeldas also keep a steady difficulty, whereas some parts of Link to the Past are just completely challenge-less, whereas some are as difficult as in the original.

(And let it be noted: I'm completely horrible at 2D games.

I take back my original statement, I had totally forgotten about Link's Adventure.  That one was rough.

As for the rest, they're not challenging... at all.

Well, you're a pretty awesome gamer (at least what you've posted on VGC makes it seem like that), so your opinion on that is actually incredibly flawed.

I find almost all the 2D Zeldas difficult. Link to the past is actually the only one I don't (although it has its hard parts).

I think the 3D Zeldas have a good difficulty too though, as the difficulty makes them more adventure and explore than a fighting game. (I prefer the former to the latter).
