Quick Question:
How many people who are being critical of Wii Music have played the game for more than 5 minutes?
How many people even own Wiis?
How many people only have "knowledge" about this game from what they read on gaming websites/magazines?
Wii Music is not perfect. The song list is a bit pedestrian (but given its nature, it is going to be somewhat less enthralling than Guitar Hero or Rock Band) and does not expand (it should have DLC). Sound quality is not industry standard (and either is most people's TVs). Graphics are not the best (they could be better, even on the Wii).
But it is different (it is not the same as GH or RB). It has more appeal in non-American markets. And it is fun in its own way to some people.

To me, it makes no sense to spend hours every day yelling profanities fragging other people on the same maps. But I am not yelling "take down the servers and break the game disks." That is the equivalent to what some people are saying regarding Wii Music.
