I'm glad you both understand where I'm coming from. At no length do I go beyond saying that this argument is limited because it is based on the preferences of a minority. I'm glad we can both understand each other to some degree. I've noticed you guys before and thought were intelligent. Glad to see it first hand

c0rd it is easier to have another console or at least another big game to tide you over. I guess that's why the wii often gets paired on this site. One big problem for me is that I just picked up WoW again, and I have about 4 ps3 games that I haven't quite finished yet. (I'm still working on a 4hr no kill, no alert, no death,no save run on hard in MGS4 I've managed to do it with 3-5 saves so far) Sometimes, I guess the problem for me is that there isn't really a wii game that has made me want to drop the ps3 controller.
@bdbdbd yeah i will agree that 3rd parties make a difference. But I feel like to some degree the platformed should be blamed in part for the lack of development. Both Sony and MS have devs that work with 3rd parties to program and such. Nintendo doesn't do that. So while I will be included in the future, I think I have plenty of time to rant about it til then.
I'm not sure what will get me into nintendo's scope though. Definitely, just some normal controller action would interest me. My gf's sister has a huge catalog of games as well so I wouldn't really need to buy any, so that's a plus.
I guess I'll wait and see. For now I'll just play her wii.

(I was really close to getting a Wii this xmas, because of Oneechanbara, the upcoming punch out, TP, and NMH2, and MH3. But I will hold off for now.)
Honestly, besides the gameplay, I think I'm also a little addicted to trophies. If Wii got them it would make the decision to buy really really difficult.
