I can see why one would be pissed off at Nintendo for this, but I don't really mind. I have a gigantic backlog of games as it is, not to mention I have a PS3/360/DS to hold off if there are any gaps. Hell, since WoW covered me for so long (04' - early 08'), I just bought 3/4 of these consoles 2008. I bought a Nintendo console only expecting Nintendo games, so as long as I get ~6 good games a year, I'm set. So far, the system has delivered more than enough for me. It's also undoubtly the main console for local multiplayer, as the HD consoles are much more focused on single player / online play.

I just don't know about that. I've seen many unexpected things happen in life. Hey, the other night one of UK's players scored 54 points on the opponent's home court. And UK beat their opponent on their opponent's homecourt by 18 points even though their opponent was picked to win the SEC. The fact that people say the Wii is going to win because they have the lead right now even by a significant amount doesn't take into account the fact that this gen isn't over until 2012 or sometime. If Nintendo can sell 50 million consoles in their first two years there is no reason to think Sony can't sell as many or more in the last two years, and Sony has a stellar line up for this year and the next and probably the one behind that while all I've heard for the Wii is some B grade survival horror games, some B grade action games, some B grade rpgs, and some GC remakes for 2009; and Mario, Zelda, Monster Hunter (which so far hasn't caught on in the West), and DQ (another one which never really caught on in the West), coming out at some point in 2010.
Heavens to Murgatoids.
