So how long until the Wii has sold enough to have overcome the lead? The Wii percentage seems to be slowing down (because it needs bigger numbers to keep it up) but it is still close to 1% per month.
So in 5-6 months the Wii will have been collectively owned for longer than the X360.... and with Wii Sports included will have likely passed the total software sales in 4-5 months. Without Wii Sports it will be 6-7 months, except that is not de-including the 2 games bundled in 360s these last 2 holiday periods, which must add up to at least 4 million sales.
Edit... actually, holy crap! those bundles for the X360 helped those games a lot more than I thought.... more like 7 million extra game sales. Check out their graphs:
