PS3 will overtake XBox 360 by December 2009 in worldwide console sales.

In the PS3's defense, September 2007 to September 2008 belonged to the PS3. Outsold 360 by like 2 million in that time frame, if I'm not mistaken

 

I looked it up, you are right, PS3 sold more.  By 1 million if you go by VGChartz.
