Oh, that's easy. People are claiming Nintendo has ditched their fanbase for the "casuals," which is why these sorts of arguments usually come up. As long as their support remains as strong (or stronger) than their GC days, the argument falls flat.

I will say that with Q1/Q2 09, they may fall behind pace - but yeah, I'm still hopeful they can make it up by the end of the year. If I'm wrong, meh... then people can rub it in, but I'd at least wait until that time comes.

Oh dude I completely agree. The way it stands now, I do not want to support what is happening. However.... I can see the wii selling 150-200m consoles (including a wii1.5) at that point, devs don't give a shit about how much a game costs, and make whatever they want because even if only 1% of owners buy the game it still makes profit.

At that point I will have to buy one, but at this junction, I can't see a reason to back the Wii because I don't feel the games are there. As another note, I really think wii1.5 is going to need better graphics.
