When will PS3 Surpass Xbox360?

LOL that's a good one... Prove it! Show us the magical lineup for 2008 that Sony apparently has compared to what Nintendo has (which they've yet to talk about) and what MS has (who's also been quiet about 2008). You only need to talk about next years items if this years items can't hold their own. It's called dangling a carrot... Most games scheduled for next year are all tentative... meaning they could come out next year... of they could get delayed.

Brillant fanboy post with the use of 'LOL' to show off how mature you are. Wether you like it or not the ps3 in 2008 has more proven top rated multi million selling franchises coming out than any other console. The ps3 just off the top of my head has:

Gran Turismo 5

Final Fantasy 13

Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Grand Theft Auto 4 (not coming to wii)

Metal Gear Solid 4

Killzone 2

Monster Kingdom

The Getaway 3

Tekken 6

Driver 5

Devil May Cry 4 (not coming to wii)

Wipeout

Burnout 5 (not coming to wii)

Resident Evil 5 (not coming to wii)

Then their are a bunch of promising new games such as, LittleBigPlanet, DC Universe, Eight Days, L.A. Noire and White Knight Story.

 

 

first off FF 13 will be lucky if it comes in 08, but i guess you can keep that up you never know they might be able to do it, and there is no chance in hell versuses is coming out in 08 unless they have kept everything a lie.

Now sony has been focusing on 08, because well, we see what they have for this holiday and its not the best, i would also focus on next year.

Also you have a few multis on there so i would NOT INCLUDE THEM

WHile ps3 does have the stronger lineup, its not like 360 and wii dont have a decently strong one.

 

Seriously if you are argeuing that a bunch of games will give the ps3 a huge ass boost, then why not the same for 360 and wii, your argueing is pointless

 

 

Nope, no and nope. You've listed a bunch of unproven games with the exception of fable 2, banjo and wolfenstein. Just taking the last released version of Gran turismo, final fantasy and metal gear, in total sales that comes to 17.69m and is still rising. You can take all those games you've just listed and combined they won't out sell those 3 huge sony games.

First off, learn to read, FF will be lucky to be out in 08, and thats if it gets lucky, read the post then comment.

There are a few proven games here like you said fable two banjo and wolf. BUt does that mean that unproven wont be big hits?

You listed way to many cross platform games, and games which people dont give a danm about (drive 5 wtf?) i could of listed tons more of exclusive games, but i listed the games that PEOPLE CARE ABOUT.

YES ps3 has a better lineup so far, but to say that 360 sucks so bad that ps3 will just zoom right past it is just stupid. LIKE EVERYONE HAS SAID ps3 fans have given up on 07, seems your trying to bash 360 and wii for 08, because thats where sony is concentrating on. IF no other games are announced for either system, id be very very suprised and would call both nintendo and microsoft dumb for that mistake.

Also again your stating that games push consoles, guess what wii and 360 have this fall. Games the size of what you just listed. But of course only ps3 has true console pushing games.

BTW why are you saying those 3 will outsell all of those, it may be true, but guess what halo 3 will sale compared to ALL ps3 games coming out. WHat i thought...... Keep ranting.

The only person i see ranting is you. The bottom line is most of those games will come out in 2008. It's a fact that the majority of the time proven million selling franchises will continue to sell millions and it's much harder for a brand new game to come along and sell millions. And then were not just talking about 1-2 million, final fantasy, metal gear and gran turismo sell 5-10 million each. Every one of those ps3 games i listed people care about because they are all million selling games wether you personally like them or not. I never said the ps3 will zoom past the xbox360, ive said it will take till sometime in 2009 before it over takes the 360, that's 2 years time. The ps3 has more proven system sellers left to come out compared to the other consoles and for every potential brand new system seller coming out on another console sony has a potenitial new system seller of it's own.
