Never had any amongst PS3 haters actually, but I am regularly contacted by people who thank me for the technical information I have provided and collected on SPE usages and its importance to PS3 game performance from around the launch period. Due to the release of games like Uncharted and the pending release of Killzone 2 combined with more recent dev comments, I have gained a lot of creditability in many people's eyes (as well as more hate from vivid 360 fanboys).
Some sales predictions from me were rather spot on, like holding a poll before the PS3's European launch stating I thought the PS3 would perform relatively much better there than for the United States. Or when I argued with VGChartz staff about the PS3 starting to outsell the 360 worldwide after Halo 3 had launched. The staff member made fun of me, but it did happen.
Of course there are always conditions which we don't have influence on, for example software (nomatter which console) is often delayed, etc.
