Most of stuff has already been discussed somehere else on this website. on Reason 1: I haven't heard any complaints from the top development houses. Any jerk without talent or a job, but with a big ego can start a blog and claim to be an indie developer nowadays. on Reason 3: People buy those TVs because they are flat, they are widescreen and they are huge. Then they watch their SD 4:3 programmes zoomed and distorted to 16:9 and don't even notice how weird that looks. Few appreciate what HD actually means. The day that DVD players are kicked out of the living room will be the day to introduce Wii HD, but not before that.
