And this is if the PS3 gets a huge boost this holidayand doubles its total sales in just 2 months (ie, not likely). Going by your lower prediction (7 million) you expect 13 million PS3s sold in 8 months, or about 1.6 million per month, from January to August.

You need to recheck your maths.

yea he's a little too optimistic, i expect 13-14 million at that time.

it's like saying a console would sell 10 million in it's first 9 months
