You can usually see a 'big' game coming miles away, we knew of bioshock, halo 3, mass effect and gears upwards of a year before they hit the streets. right now, ms has a bunch of TBA games which can't or haven't been pinned down, but there's no indication that there will be a bunch of triple A games falling from the sky. it's not like ms is going to suffer, they do have alan wake, too human and huxley each probably showing up in Q1/Q2, it's just that it doesn't really hold a candle to games like killzone, metal gear solid, FFX13 (TBA), GT5 and littlebigplanet. Early 2008 will be playstation season. especially since we won't be seeing any of bungie for awhile as they'll be working on halo wars (console RTS's fail) and then have to develop their next 'halo'. i still don't think the ps3 will pass the 360 until 09 though.

True, but what did MS have coming out besides Gears of war that was anything major? Like sony they were focusing on the next year, they really were, its kinda the same with nintendo.
I think both nintendo and MS should keep focusing on this years games, then in nov or something, announce other exclusives for next year (unless they dont have any -_-)
BUt your right, sony def has the best lineup for early 08, little doubt about that But i hate it when sony fanboys think "well 360 and wii dont have any games, ps3 is gonna sell 10 million and take the lead cause of these awsome games" and they are right, they currently have the best games, but that doesnt mean wii and 360 dont have a solid lineup, just means they dont have the huge titles coming next year, its this year for them.
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
