Also others are saying why is it bad that wii only sells alot of games that start with Wii or Mario Bros well wat happend to games like Street Fighter and Double Dragon and others  that originated on the nes look SF4 is only on HD consoles Wii will always be like N64 and GC it doesn't matter if it's selling more HW than thoose it still only selling the Wii titles and the Mario Bros it's not having a impact in the game industry like wen GTA3 came out or Halo, KZ2, COD, GearsOfWar, old NFS, and future titles like Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, and MAG

I took away about 15k of the wii Sports b/c there were also ps3 bundled games why is there only 54.1% more SW sold compared to there being 64.3% more Wiis even if u count all the Wii Sports the SW % doesn't match the HW%  The HW  were both released in the same time also eventually the ps3 will catch up to million sellers once  PS3 HW#s go up

I didn't add JP b/c good PS3 SW has dropped there yet like FF, SF4, and GT5 but the Tie Ratios are pretty close 4 ps3 and the wii being wii 3.66 and ps3 3.25

You also have to recall that the ps3 is still to high in price, ps3 games cost more than Wii games, and ps3 had a bad 06 & 07 SW line up bottom line the Wii can't sell SW the way ps3 and even 360 can

 

again a bunch of garbage that just disproves your original post.  So you're saying PS3 has a little higher of an attach rate?  So what?  All your numbers would suggest is that the PS3 would have to sell almost as well as the wii to get the same software, but the truth is it's only selling 1/3 as much. 

PS3 is not selling as fast as the wii the average length of ownership is quite a bit higher on the ps3.  7 months ago the wii userbase was 50% what it is now, 7 months ago the ps3 userbase was 75% of what it is now.
