When will it end? People will always hate that which is popular, it makes them feel refined and set apart from the common man, but come on already.

You can't claim to be a gaming fan for 30 years and still not be able to see that Nintendo has done more than anyone to keep gaming alive this generation? It doesn't take 20 years of gaming 'journalism' to realize that the virtual console alone is a bigger asset for a gamer than both Sony and Microsoft's combined efforts this gen.

What kind of gamer are you if you sit by and applaud the attempt to turn games into a branch of the movie industry, and then turn around and bash the only true gaming company left in the race when they successfully bring gaming for gaming's sake back?

The internet is full of 'hardcore gamers' who doesn't even understand what a game is. They have the chance to experience first hand one of the most significant moments in video gaming history, and they choose to cry and whine about it instead. Shaking in their pants from fear because they don't understand what gaming and that it would be the end of their life if they ever were to enjoy something that a soccer mom could enjoy.

Anyone who really cares about games should be on their knees right about now, thanking Nintendo for saving video gaming again.
