@op - The problem with your logic is this - developers are moving AWAY from PS3 development, whereas more developers are moving TOWARDS Wii development. Thus, more potential million sellers on the Wii, and less on the PS3.
It was a well thought out plan, but you need to pay more attention to those bullets tearing the theory apart.
